In October of 1989, a meteor shower hits Smallville and Clark Kent (Tom Welling) comes
into our lives. With Lana Lang's (Kristin Kreuk) parents killed by a meteor and Alexander "Lex" Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) being
hit by the debri from the first meteor hit Smallville becomes "The Meteor Capitol of the World."
After Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) tells Clark that he's not exactly from around
here, due to a recent event (Lex hit Clark off a bridge at 60 mph) Lex becomes Clark's "new best friend." While
Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack) introduces the "Wall of Weird" to Clark, Clark has to rush and save his friends from
a meteor-freak after being strung-up like a scarecrow by Whitney Fordman (Eric Johnson) due to his jealousy of his girlfriend's
relationship with Clark.
Clark & Lana Status:
They have their first real talk and Lana gives Clark a kiss on the cheek.
